In John 9 the disciples are looking for the cause of the blind man's problem, someone to blame. Jesus turns their focus toward the good that He does.

As we look back at 2020, it may be easy to see the bad and try to assign blame. But look at it from the perspective Jesus had with the blind man. See the good God did despite the bad that happened.

Checkout the whole chapter:

Notice that Jesus used something messy to bring a blessing.

Notice the effort required of the man to go and wash.

Notice the man repeatedly giving Jesus the glory and credit.

Notice when the man is persecuted Jesus seeks him to give him grace and love through faith.

2020 vision is always seeing God at work in and through you, no matter the circumstance.

Follow Jesus, Lead Your Family.

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
