Christmas is one part of the plan...

Merry Christmas! As we see in Luke 24, the events of Christmas weren't the beginning, but just one step in God's plan to save His people from sin and restore them to the relationship with Him that He originally intended. We read about that plan all through the Bible in the Old Testament, the Gospels, the letters of the early church, and Revelation. Encouraging you to consider this "big picture" of God at work throughout time, both in your solitude and your family time this weekend.

He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
