Near the end of February I went snowshoeing. A few days into April, after more snow, rain, melting, and re-freezing, the path I took across the yard is still visible. My steps changed the snow in a way that has influenced it's interaction with the environment ever since then.

Our walk through life has a similar lasting impact on those around us. Sometimes it may be more apparent than others, but we are continually shaping, and being shaped, by the people in our lives. Big or small, words or actions, all have an effect.
Keep focused on your source of life and salvation, God and His word, so that your impact is lasting, effective, and positive.
Follow Jesus Lead Your Family
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 NIV
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Colossians 3:1-2 NIV
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV
