What is God calling you to do?

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV Spoken to God's people while they were in exile, these words reminded them their condition was not permanent. God was with them and despite their situation He would bless them now and one day restore them to where they belonged. This is true for us as well as we consider our current life and the eternal paradise ahead of us. But God's plan is not just about our eternity- He also looks for our current response to His Grace... "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10 NIV What is God calling you to do that you have been ignoring, putting off, or even not aware of yet? It may be a small witness to a friend; maybe a major project or life shift; maybe it is simply to relax in His Grace and lay your burdens on Him. Whatever it is, listen for it this week and take the next step and follow His plan.
